Washington home financing, made personal
Thoughtful mortgage guidance for homebuyers, homeowners and Realtor partners across Tacoma, the South Sound and Washington State.
Application begins with a soft credit check. Completing an application does not obligate you to proceed.
I’m Kelli Stroeve, a Washington-licensed Loan Officer with Edge Home Finance. I help buyers and homeowners understand their options, prepare with confidence and make financing decisions that fit the life they’re actually building.
Before becoming a Loan Officer, I spent years leading teams and supporting mortgage operations. That experience shaped how I work today: communicate clearly, anticipate the details and make a complicated process feel manageable.
On a personal note, I’m a wife, a mom of two boys and a proud dog mom to our rescue, Remy. My family and I call Northeast Tacoma home, so helping people build their lives through homeownership feels especially meaningful to me.
I am licensed in Washington. Through my Edge Home Finance team, we can assist borrowers in every state except New York. Licensing and program availability vary by state.

Frequently asked questions
The initial application can begin with a soft credit check, which generally does not affect your credit score. If a hard credit inquiry becomes necessary, we’ll discuss that step with you.
It depends on the loan program, property and your qualifications. Some eligible programs allow low or no down payment, while others may benefit from more money down. We’ll compare the full picture—not just one percentage.
Either can be a good starting point, but a financing conversation before serious home shopping helps you understand your budget and prepares your agent to write a stronger, well-informed offer.
No. A maximum qualifying amount is not automatically the same as a comfortable budget. We’ll discuss payment, cash needs and priorities so you can choose a price range that fits your life.
Edge Home Finance can review options from multiple wholesale lenders rather than offering products from only one institution. The goal is to identify a competitive program that fits your specific scenario.
Refinance Rate Watch List
Share a few details about your current mortgage. If market conditions reach a point where refinancing may be worth a conversation, I can follow up with you.
This is a request for future contact—not a loan application, rate lock, approval, or commitment to lend. Please do not include Social Security numbers, account numbers, or other sensitive financial information.
